Thank you to all who came to watch our class assembly this week. I think you can all agree that the children were absolutely fantastic! They learned their lines and songs in a week and I hope that they are as proud of themselves as I am of them. Thank you also to those who have sent in some pictures! Keep them coming!
This week in English, we have been busy finishing our myth planning booklets. We created a journey for our heroes to embark upon, problems, magical powers/objects, solutions and endings! Next week we will put our final plan into a fully written story, using story mountain as a guide. I can't wait to read them all!
This week in Science, we investigated whether rocks were permeable or not, how strong they were in our scratch test, and whether rocks are igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic. Next week we will continue with soil, investigating the different layers. Ask us about our learning at home; I wonder if we can remember the story of Roger Rock?
Well done to Suhail, Waiz and Isabelle who worked hard and are performing in two fantastic dance routines in the Year 3 and 4 Assembly today! We can't wait to watch! Congratulations to my Pupils of the Week this week, Amy and Aryan Malani. These two always display fabulous friendship skills to all, as well as demonstrating a wonderful work ethic in class. A great example for your peers; well done! Well done also to my Friend of the Week, Dev who is always eager to share 'good' tales and speak positively about his peers after play-times. What a lovely characteristic! Finally, well done to Maryam for doing wonderful Home Learning in Arabic and receiving a certificate as a result. (",)
As always, I wish you all a lovely weekend!
