Unfortunately my lovely blog from before the break didn't publish for me properly but not to worry, all photos, etc. are still at hand and are included in this blog instead! (",)
Spring Fair
I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who got involved in helping out in any way at all, no matter how small, in order to make our fun stall happen. I'd especially like to give a massive thank you to my Class Representatives who have organised every detail. The children too, of course, created lovely posters and I'm looking forward to seeing them tomorrow during my (and I was told it was called this via email by the way) 'graveyard' shift tomorrow on our stall from 6.30 - 7pm (",). Looking forward to seeing some of you there. If you're going, I hope you all have had a fabulous day. Personally, I'm always blown away at how amazing it all is!
Before the Break!
Before the break, the children finished their fabulous information texts about water in English. We focused on editing during this topic and the final drafts were so fantastic I displayed them in our classroom. We wrapped up our Water Topic with our fun Blue Day and became a class droplet! I think the children's Science highlight of the topic was definitely the lava lamps!! Lots of fun learning, please don't be afraid to ask us about it all!!
Awards!!
Nobody loves rewarding as much as myself! Have a look at our Pupil of the Week and Friendship stars from before the break in below's photographs. Fantastic children, keep it up!!
We have also given out attendance certificates for 100% attendance so far in Term 2. Congratulations to all these children and families alike also! (",)
Congratulations to my poster competition winner, Aleesha, who designed a fantastic poster about using water wisely.
Very well done to all, lots of dojos given out! (",)

This Week in 3G!
This week we've been very busy getting into our new Topic, Shaping Up! We visited Park 'n Shop to observe and learn about fruit and vegetables that are imported from other countries. Even Miss Mc Brearty learned lots! Have a look at our photographs below in our gallery!
This week in Science we've been learning about the food groups and benefits of these. We even tested food for starch using iodine in the Science Lab! Ask us about our learning fun and have a look at our photographs below.
This week in English, we have been looking at different authors and the books that they have written. We then wrote some lovely book reviews, so if you're passing by our corridor have a look at them outside our classroom!
Next week, we will be learning how to write letters in English, about our body in Science, about scaling in Maths, about keeping fit and healthy in Shaping Up, and lots more! So watch this space!
Also, next week is inspection week, as I'm sure you are already aware. Please may I request that children are in time to start lessons every morning at 8.40 sharp (registrar to be done at 7.35am). As always, thank you for your support and understanding. There will also be a note going home about our trip to Pizza Express to make healthy pizza's! I need one volunteer for this trip, so if you'd like to come, please let me know! We are going on Tuesday 10th March.
Music Assembly - This is taking place at 8am on Tuesday 3rd March. All welcome, of course!
Finally, congratulations to my two Friends of the Week, Isabelle and Aryan. Everyone is lucky to have you both as brilliant friends! Also, congratulations to my Pupil of the Week, Kody. Kody has made me very proud this week, working hard and completing all his work. He is a fantastic self-manager, always displaying superb friendship skills, manners, etc. Well done to you all!
Have a lovely weekend! (",)
