What a lovely end to the week with our Pink Punk Day to raise money for a great cause! Thank you to you all for sending in your donations and for going to a great effort with your children; they all looked wonderful!
This week we finished our non-chronological reports about jobs in an airport. We had great fun creating electro-magnets in Science and learned all about maps, symbols and keys in our Topic, Gateways to the World. Please ask us all about our learning at home! (",)
We cannot wait to come back to begin our new topic, Chocolate! We will be tasting chocolate, melting chocolate in Science when studying heat and of course we are going to the Kit Kat Factory! In English we will be studying play scripts, acting them out and creating them. A fun start back after the holidays!
I am still in need of one volunteer to come with us to the Kit Kat Factory and also volunteers for Math passport. Math passport is a fantastic and enjoyable way for the children to learn their number bonds and facts. Please let me know if you can help in any way.
Congratulations to my Pupil of the Week, Waiz and my Friend of the Week, Hashim. Two wonderful boys, keep up the great work! (",)
Finally, it was lovely to meet and chat with you all at the Parent Teacher meetings. I've had a wonderful start to the year; your children are a credit to you. Thank you for your continued support. I wish you all a lovely break with your children.
