This week in English the children became journalists, interviewing and reporting about dinosaurs in Safa Park and a fossil robbery in the Sharjah Museum - oh dear!! The children completed their fantastic newspaper reports this week and are ready for display!
Next week in English the children will be reading a variety of myths and legends from around the world. What makes them different from normal stories that we read? Magic, heros, super human powers, ghastly monsters and creatures - I have a feeling that this will be a very fun and exciting topic!!
We had a special treat this week in Science when 3E came in to buddy teach us all about how Roger Rock turns into Simon Soil! 3G created some fantastic questions about the process using Bloom's and we even had our own Roger Rock, sun, cold, fugus, bacteria and plant to dramatise the process! Lots of fun and a big thank you to 3E for teaching us!
Next week in Science we will be investigating how hard or soft rock is and whether they are impermeable or permeable. We shall be geology experts before we know it!!
A date for you diary - I'd like to invite you all to our class assembly on 20th May in the 3G classroom at 8.30am! We can't wait to show off our year's learning in the Creative Curriculum.
Congratulations to Viren and Maisie, my two Pupils of the Week! Both have been great friends, self-managers and have worked hard within lessons. Well done you two!
As always, have a lovely weekend!
