Learning in 3G
English - This week in 3G we completed our letters to our famous authors, Jacqueline Wilson and David Walliams. We are posting these off and hopefully we will receive a reply! We also researched lots of facts about Roald Dahl. The children were brilliant at gathering notes and facts and even I learned lots of great new things myself! We then wrote a letter to the Roald Dahl Fan Club as part of our assessment.
Next week, we will be looking at different types of poems and writing some too!
Science - This week we learned all about the muscles. The children can name some of our muscles, tell us their function, how they're attached and what happens when they contract. We then made our own muscles in the lab! Next week, we will be looking at muscles in further detail, investigating what happens when we put them to use, such as our body temperature!
Topic - This week we created armatures in Art. What are these you ask? Please ask your children! Your child created the armature using wire and then moulded it into a sporty pose. Next week we will be covering these in tinfoil and painting the clay. We are also excited to be attending our Pizza Express Trip next week! Watch this space for photos!
Congratulations to my Pupil of the Week this week, Hina. Hina is a lovely friend and has worked hard on her self-manager and listening skills. Well done also to my wonderful Friend of the Week, Viren. Well done you two! (",)
As always, have a lovely weekend!
