The children wrote their newspaper report assessment this week, Mrs Jordan is looking forward to marking them, hoping that the children remembered to include all of the above!
Is there a bold and eye catching headline?
Is there an interesting introduction?
Is it written with short and informative sentences giving detailsabout who / what / where / when / how?
Is the tone of the writing formal and impersonal?
Are there paragraphs written in columns?
Is there a picture or photograph with a caption?
Does it use quotations?
In Science this week we looked at the properties of different types of rocks! We investigated what category; chalk, granite, marble, sandstone and slate are – Sedimentary, Metaphoric or Sedimentary
The children loved being in teacher role explaining to 3G the story of Roger Rock.

Exciting news! We are starting a new English unit called Myths & Legends.
We will be reading a variety of myths from all over the world and learning how to write our own!
In ICT we will continue to learn how to create engaging, innovative, fact filled and dynamic PowerPoint Presentations.
We will also be looking at www.prezi.com
